Boston Blackthorne plays driving Celtic and Irish influenced original music with 4 part harmonies and authentic Irish instruments such as mandolin, fiddle, bodhran, bouzouki and bass and guitar. The band won the Springfield (MA) Newspapers Livewire Award in 2006 for best local album.
