Starpost is an Alternative Rock band from Nuremberg, Germany. The band consists of David “Dato” Gabelaia (Lead Vocals, Rhodes Piano, Guitar, Synths/Keyboard, Kaoss Pad), Rodney Perez (Guitar, Backing Vocals, Kaoss Pad, Synths), Alex Schlaja (Bass Guitar, Synths/Keyboard, Backing Vocals) and David “Dadi” Meister (Drums, Percussions, Beats and Loops).After some failed attempts at having a full line-up, Starpost was finally formed in 2008 and released their first independent EP “The Future is Now” in January 2009. In 2010 they started working on their debut album „Opticks“, which was released in February 2011.
