Before Electric Wizard existed as we know it, Jus Oborn was involved in a series of underground doom metal and death-doom projects. These early incarnations included:

These bands gradually evolved in style, moving from primitive death-doom toward the heavier, sludgier, and more psychedelic sound that would define Electric Wizard.
