Howson are so named because the name is made up from their surnames...Dave Hutson is the guitarist and main vocalist and Dave Howard is the keyboard player and sequencing programmer and producer under the label D.H.M.Inc.(Dave Howard Music Inc).
They met in 1999 on a building site, Hutson is an Openreach Engineer and Howard a Carpenter, but it wasn`t until 2003 that they realised they both had an interest in making music. They started meeting up every other wednesday night to see what they could produce and their first album was not supprisingly entitled "Every Other Wednesday". They are presently working on their fourth album the others being called "Monday Nights" and "Love...Not Lies". The latter can be found on last.fm and most of the tracks from the others will follow shortly. Latest News... October 2009 "Dreams" is released.
Because their musical interests are fairly broad I don`t think their music necessarily fits any particular genre so might therefore appeal to a wider audience. Although only done as a hobby, Howson have amassed quite a catalogue of material, and gain emmense pleasure from producing it and hope it will be met by a potentially larger listening base in the same spirit.
