Formed in Kalamazoo, MI, in 1995, the electric rock trio Lo-Fi Scorpio has earned comparisons to such renowned outfits as Nine Inch Nails, VAST, and Smashing Pumpkins. Lo-Fi Scorpio built a substantial local following, as well as in the nearby Chicago and Detroit areas (headlining their own shows and opening for the likes of VAST, Frontline Assembly, and Hate Dept, among others).

Personal note from Joby

Lo-Fi remains to this day one of my favorite bands, the great music, kick ass stage show, and personalities of this band made them a true jem! I also think that Noir is one of Mike Roche's Finest Recordings. There are other tracks floating around (probably in mike's basement) like a cover of Smashing Pumpkins "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" that I never got to hear but I'd love to see turn up on this site as well (hint, hint Yaeger).
