It's been years since CoCo released her debut album "318 Hot Girl" which included the hit single "Whatcha Gone Do When I Back Dat A$$ Up? the reply to Juvenile's, "Back Dat A$$ Up." She has performed on shows with artists such as Eightball & MJG, Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz, BEELOW, Lil Troy, Lil KEKE, Gerald Levert, DJ DMD, FIEND, LUKE, Pastor Troy, and many others. CoCo formerly known as Mafiachild started her career back in 1993 when she became the first lady of Miami Mobsters and eventually ventured out to pursue a solo career a few years later. She acquired the name "CoCo" when she began working at a Shreveport hip hop radio station in 1998 as a prime time on air personality. During that time she was promoting her first compilation album from her then label Diamond Entertainment entitled "Southside Gravy" that featured artists from Louisiana and Texas. She then created an idea to come up with an answer song to Juvenile's "Back Dat A$$ Up," which spawned the release of her first solo album "318 Hot Girl" released in 1999 regionally. The album was a success. Her single, "Whatcha Gone Do When I Back Dat A$$ Up," gained medium to heavy rotation on 1000+ hip hop stations and clubs in the USA. The album is currently doing well in Japan. She was also featured in Beelow's, "Big Body" video which also featured C-Murder. CoCo is currently working on her second album which will be a double cd to make up for the past eight years she remained in solitude.
