Vladimir Kurumilian was born in 1988 into a family that favoured art. Since his young age, his father introduced him to music and exhorted him to start playing the piano. He quickly started taking music courses in the Lebanese National Conservatory and was mentored by Mr. Michael Ashjian. Vladimir grew up in an environment that intertwined multiple cultures, mixing up to create unique rhythms. He started transmuting every experience, every image into improvised pieces that held a specific emotional state.

Like his father, Vladimir studied interior architecture at Académie Libanaise Des Beaux-Arts (ALBA). He is a multidisciplinary artist who developed an emotional attachment to Beirut from which he draws a big part of his inspiration. The city also became the subject of most of his photography work and sketches. His study field helped him merge his music with visuals varying from light design to video and photography projections throughout collaborations with several artists. Since the audiovisual field fascinated Vladimir, his music was featured in several movies.
