Forte Ruin was originally founded in 2011 under a different name. After couple years of songwriting and countless rehearsals, the band finally formed its current line-up in the spring of 2014.

Handful of shows were played with the new line-up in the fall of 2014. During the long and cold winter, there was plenty of time to record the first release "Forte Ruin EP."
