Tony Roots born Anthony Stultz grew up in the hills of cool, cool Mandeville Jamaica where he was schooled and learnt the necessary music skills to enhance his musical ability. He then migrated to the U.K to further academic studies pursue his musical career.

With numerous vocal recordings for various companies/producers, from the late 1980's to present, Tony Roots has been acknowledged across Europe and has gained world wide recognition for his prolific song writing abilities and the sheer originality of it's lyrical content and vocal delivery style.

One of the modern original roots reggae artists of today who captures the authenticity of yester years and sounds comfortable with lovers or roots melodies just the same. As the artist once said "Reggae music is like a tree with many branches, it is the message that is important. So I may use any riddim to get my message across."
