Luvi Torres was an Argentinean singer, composer, musician and performer, dedicated primarily to the dissemination of roots music, co-creation between the branches of new folklore, world music, and the song genre.

She encouraged the development of human consciousness through words and sound. In addition to his voice, she played native instruments such as bombo leguero and caja chayera, also guitar and her particular bichito cordobés, one of the distinctive colours of her composition, the hybrid instrument created by the Chilean luthier Homero Zambrano.
