One of New York City’s finest underground DJ duos, DJ Halo-Halo (pronounced hollow-hollow) and DJ Bula, have been making heads nod and bodies rock throughout the city with their DJ skills for more than ten years.

Both born in New York, Dj Halo-Halo and Dj Bula met each other back in1990 and have been partners ever since. With the experience of djing at dozens of venues such as Discotheque (NYC), Club Republica (Ithaca), Club Vesta (NYC), Vapor Lounge (NYC), Planet 28 (NYC) Tangerine Lounge (NYC), Canal Room (NYC), Mumbai (NYC), Opaline (NYC), Mars 2112 (NYC), The Nines Club (Ithaca), The Kings Club (Stonybrook), The Horse & Jockey Club (Stonybrook), Speed (NYC), Exit (NYC), Fashion 40 lounge (NYC), Jade Terrace-China Club (NYC), Hammerstein Ballroom (NYC), Float (NYC) and the Lobby (NYC), these guys know what it takes to keep the party jumping all night long.

Dj Halo-Halo and Dj Bula are also no strangers to production/remixing. Having released records under Xtreme Records (progressive trance) back in 2001 they have been successful in producing their own dance music. Their most recent release is an album of progressive house and trance named 'Mind Control'.

Reaching out to the unknown DJ, Halo-Halo and Bula have also created a site called djshowcase.com, a website dedicated to promoting and helping the DJ. At this site, they will take any prospective DJ and immediately place them in their DJ list giving them exposure to the over 10,000+ visitors that hit their site on a daily basis.

Thankful for their success, DJ Halo-Halo gives his advice to those people who want to make it as a DJ in the music industry, “Put your all into it & always believe in your dreams."
