There are two artists with this name:

What we say:

A strange blend of indie guitar mixed with chilled out beats and melodic synths - a heavy slant towards the Shoetronica and a hats off to the ambient... Ben is breaking boundaries with this sound.

He now does all of his writing in Devon - UK - and has drawn on the positives and the negatives of living in such an area. There's also a heavy amount of inspiration from his time living in the French Alps - an area of the world which stimulates some of the more chilled out tracks.

2. Ben Solo writes and records in the Adelaide foothills (Australia), and plays live shows solo and with his incredibly visceral band.
