Crawlin' Lyrics

Things are different on my block
I don't know if you heard about
How these folks are living
And I can't help you out

It seemed to be your fault again
What you said got you running 'round
The demon entered your enemies
You'll pay when you slow down

Ooh, ooh
I feel for you
So take your time

You're crawlin', things can only get better, boy
Your life can shine in front of you
It catches up with all of us
I'm certain afternoons

Times are changin' you know that
God knows what you were, you were thinking of
Everybody's watchin'
They can't destroy you enough

I try to figure out
(Figure out)
The rules of this or that game
The streets that got your number
You don't remember your name

Ooo, ooo
I feel for you
So take your time

You're crawlin', things can only get better, boy
Your life can shine in front of you
It catches up with all of us
I'm certain afternoons

You're crawlin', things can only get better, boy
Your life can shine in front of you
It catches up with all of us
I'm certain afternoons

Yea

I can't let this carry on
The shadows won't cover your regrets
They told you about this avenue
I bet you wont forget

Your strength is runnin' out
(Runnin' out)
Your blood is screamin'
You can't defend yourself again
You can't get in a word

Ooo, ooo
I feel for you
So take your time

Your crawlin', things can only get better, boy
Your life can shine in front of you
It catches up with all of us
I'm certain after you

Your crawlin', things can only get better, boy
Your life can shine in front of you
It catches up with all of us
I'm certain after you

You're crawlin'
You're crawlin'
You're crawlin'

Scapegoat Wax was a hip-hop/rap/breakbeat act from Chico California, USA that was started by Marty James. The band was best known for their single Aisle 10 (Hello Allison), which reached moderate success in the US and was part of the Xbox video game Jet Set Radio Future's as well as being on the soundtrack for Project Gotham Racing. Other singles that achieved lesser success include "Almost Fine" and "Lost Cause". Their single "Space to Share" has been included on several motion picture soundtracks, such as those of Clockstoppers and American Sweetheart.

Scapegoat Wax was originally part of Grand Royal Records, but when that label folded, moved on to Hollywood Records before eventually splitting up. Some of the original members (notably Marty James) have moved on to another similarly sounding band called One Block Radius. Read more on Last.fm.
