Matt Saturn - Biography


Matt Saturn is an Australian songwriter/ multi-musician and recording artist. His musical style is a blend of powerful emotive-rock and philosophical/spiritual exploration. His songs range from tender ballads to driving and explosive dance-rock tracks. Comparisons of Matt’s music have been made with the intensity of bands such as Nirvana, Nickelback and Silver Chair, and also with the more philosophical styles of Cold Play, U2, Pink Floyd and John Lennon.

“I really enjoy the challenge of finding a new idea or issue that hasn’t yet been written about, and then trying to create the most interesting and provocative lyrics and music that I can. Writing and recording original songs for others to enjoy gives me an awesome buzz”.



‘Earth’s Invitation’ is Matt’s debut album and features twelve original songs written over a ten-year period. From philosopher to gardener, pragmatist to dreamer, his range of songs is infused with diverse and potent ingredients.
From haunting ballads, Earth inspired rock, prophesy, the law of attraction and an Australiana tribute song to Steve Irwin.

The album ‘Earth’s Invitation’ is dedicated to this wondrous and beautiful planet Earth, and to its gracious struggle for balance in the face of unprecedented exploitation.
