Ella Minnow began as a band for a birthday. The party needed music, so these five men stepped up to the plate. Out of this birthday Chase Celebration Fantastic Union was born, and from this birth Ella Minnow was spawned. Four years later the band still continues on after four albums and hundreds of shows across Texas. In November 2007, six months after the birthday party, The Quick and Clean EP was released, and less than a year later in August, Blue Bear/Orange Shield was released. In April 2010, Ella Minnowtaur was released and for the release show, the voices of Tiffany Graber and Courtney Marie were blended to give the band a bigger sound. The girls were introduced to the world on Red Beard in March 2011. Since the summer celebration in 2007, Ella Minnow has played hundreds of shows including shows at Hailey's, Dan's Silverleaf, Rubber Gloves, NX35, 35 Conferette, Scatfest, Freewater Festival and have been featured on local radio stations KNTU, KDGE and KXT.
