成立於2004年夏天，在香港這片石屎森林的草根中長大，看見繁榮遮蔽這個城市的眼睛，人們都被虛榮沖昏，迷失方向。
大家都在尋找自己。從開始受新金屬影響，續漸受不同的音樂感染，期間經過人事變動，
至2006年秋天加入新結他手，始成今天的戳麻。雖然一直都在改變，但我們對音樂的態度始終如一。
我們深信音樂應是由心而發表達真我，自然的，直接的，真實的。
戳 - 身體跟隨節奏擺動, 感受音樂的一種方式.
麻 - 原始, 混然天成, 無加修飾, 亦喻鳥類麻雀, 奇意草根, 普遍

Chock Ma was founded in 2004 by Hak Gwai (Vocals) and Emad (guitar) in Yuen Long. They were joined shortly after by Ah Hei (drummer) through the internet and finally they found Wai Goh (Bassist) through a friend of a friend.
After many covers and writing their first song 'Crimson River', Ah Chui joined the lineup bringing an advanced level of sophistication that greatly shapes the diverse sound of Chock Ma. From then on they have added 'The Song of the Passage of Time' to their initial songs and Released a 3-track EP, also performing regularly at various venues around Hong Kong and beyond.
