There are at least two artists with the name Figure8. One is a Swedish band, and the other is a Montreal-based DJ.

The Swedish Band Figure8 was formed in the spring of 2008, some of the members had played together in different bands before and others had not.
Their concept was simple: Peter's brilliant song writing mixed up with a few of Martin's songs, arranged by a band of seven musicians.
The goal: to make Figure 8 the band they always wanted to be in, but never had the strength or courage to put together.

Their debut EP "Easy" was released on the independent record label EMK this february.

The premiere show will be held in their hometown; Gothenburg, Sweden.
