The name Adela can be used to refer to two artists:

1. AdELA

The face of Hip Pop Soul has found an authority. Born in Durban, South Africa and raised in South Florida (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Area), AdELA (pronounced uh-dee-la) is poised to become Miami’s Queen of Hip Pop Soul with Multi-Platinum Grammy Award Winning Producer, Streetrunner supplying the music on her debut single “Just Feel It & the Lil Wayne assisted REMIX”.

She attracts fans with a mixture of hard hitting street lyrics and songs of deep, heartfelt content with a Pop/R&B touch that separates her from the norm. In South Florida AdELA enjoys the biggest street/internet buzz since the likes of Flo-Rida, Rick Ross and Pit. Her leaked single “Just Feel It” has garnered requests from radio and blogs from the States to Germany to Japan. Her ability to sing, rap and write gives her the versatility of more than just an entertainer; she is an innovator.

As an independent artist AdELA has over 100 fan/industry posted videos of the song including an online leak that helped drive the song to radio. She currently has over 300,000 plays on multiple fan posted videos via You Tube and has also been featured/interviewed/placed on over 225 prominent music web sites, blogs and internet radio stations with placements of her single “Just Feel It” on over 300 MIXTAPES. Her single has been played in over 19 markets across the U.S. with over 1000 spins to date. She was voted “Best Un-signed Pop/R&B Artist” by DJ Booth Net in which they stated, “If she's not signed, something is seriously, seriously wrong with the music industry”. Her success continues to grow and spread with features in Hip Hop Weekly, Thisis50, and various other media outlets.

2. AdeLa
AdeLa (also stylised as Adela and ADELA) is, as of 2019, the art moniker of Adele Laface, an Italian singer, poetess, actress and model.

Adele Laface is the daughter of Enzo Laface, famous singer of calabrian folk, through whom she actually got her first contact with performing, by participating in his shows in Italy and abroad (Canada, Australia, the USA, Cuba, Geramny, Switzerland).

After being a constant presence in local sicilian and calabrian television, as a singer, presenter and voice actress and after participating in theatrical comedies in the calabrian dialect, in 2007 she started a collaboration with the acclaimed ethnic music group, Mattanza, participating, among others, in their long-running show "Cantu da passioni'', inspired by the Passion of Jesus Christ.

After consolidating the idea of an album sung entirely in the sicilian dialect, Adela pubslished two albums (''Sicilia antica'' and ''Brucia la terra''), an EP of christmas songs (''Ti canto la ninna'') and a single (''Caliti juncu chi passa la sciumara'').

She has published a book of poems (''Accarezzami l'anima-Sono un sogno lasciato nel cassetto''), participated in films and made concerts of portuguese fado music.
