num is actually just one chap from edinburgh called tony macgregor. He records his dark guitar and synth based songs on his own in a dark room with ancient instruments. "The Small Rocket EP" was his first release and his debut album is called *Life, Death, and the Absurdity of Being" and is due for release on July 23rd 2007.
