Marcelo Paganini is a French/Brazilian composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist (guitar, keyboards, harmonica, cavaquinho, bass, percussion, drums), arranger, sound designer, movie maker, singer, poet, writer, journalist (correspondent for Brazilian alternative newspaper Cometa Itabirano in Paris) and actor, living in Paris since 1984... He has also lived and worked in New York City, where he played with virtuoso guitar player Tiberio Nascimento. He started playing music back in 1975. Marcelo Paganini is a member of legendary band of bands from Belo Horizonte "Tribo de Solos". His one man midi band show "Marcelo Paganini is the Band" was one of the first brazilian live electronic acts back in 1986 and has influenced countless musicians and bands. He has his own studio in Montreuil, near Paris, and has the only brazilian funk/rock band in France. "Virtualmente real: Realmente virtual" (Virtually real: Really virtual) independent cd was released in 1996 in France and Brazil... Marcelo Paganini wrote "Belo Horizonte", his first symphony in 2004. He wrote more than 300 songs during the last 30 years...

The movie, shown at the 5th Belo Horizonte Short Movie Festival in Brazil in 2003, was very well received by the public. It was also screened at Bergane Grond Festival at The Hague Neederlands in 2006...

"You flip me over" - France - 2008 - 3 mn 26s - digital video - stereo, is his fourth short movie. It was made during Cannes Film Festival 2008 for the "Cannes à la Flip Competition".

Marcelo Paganini had all his short films screened at Portobello Film Festival 2008 in London from August the 28th to September the 14th 2008.

Marcelo Paganini wrote the lyrics for Guy Michelmore's song "Sigo na contramão", part of the award winning score (Best score at California Independent Film Festival 2003) for the movie "Fly fishing" (Director: David Williams - England, 2002, 82min).
