The band known as Sea Water Bliss is a folk-rock duo consisting of Michael A. Charles (vocals, guitar) and Andrew Hall (bass, backing vocals). At the time their self-titled debut album was released in 2006, the band also included Olin Valby (guitar) and Dean Drobot (drums).

Michael and Andrew started playing together in 2000 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. They debuted an original rock opera called "Room To Breathe" at Saskatoon's Mendel Art Gallery in 2002. In 2003 the rock opera was renamed "404" and performed as part of the Saskatoon Fringe Festival.

Michael A. Charles writes the lyrics and the bulk of the music. He is also known as the creator of "silly internet cartoons" such as "Garson Hampfield, Crossword Inker."

As of 2009 the band was still based in Saskatoon. They rarely play in public, but they maintain a presence on the internet, posting videos occasionally to YouTube.
