Monika Evans (previously Thomas) was born in Krakow in 1977. She wrote her first song at the tender age of sixteen and has been singing and composing ever since.

She is considered by her fans as being unique in writing lyrics in such an intimate and touching style. Since submitting two of her songs 'Mantra' and 'Kochaj Mnie' at last years UK Songwriting contest in which they both reached the semi-final stages, Monika's music is becoming very popular and 'trendy' with non-Polish speaking people.
Monika was as well a nominee for a final of ISSA 2008 Contest.
