There is also a Christian music group called Poiesis based in Garden Grove CA and affiliated with Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
The band was formed in 2004 in San Diego, CA by current members Matthew Anderson (vocals, guitar), Paul Kasaty(guitar), Aaron Pipkin (bass, keys), and Jonathan Vevia (drums, percussion).
The group has released an EP "Echoes of Hope"
