MOSAIC.WAV is a japanese Gamewave band from Akihabara. Widely known for doing theme songs to hentai games, they eventually began to produce their own original work in 2004. Their name is no doubt a reference to the use of mosaics to censor the genitals in hentai, while WAV is a sound format.

Mosaic.wav is fronted by vocalist MI-KO, with keyboardist Kayamoi, and guitarist IRON backing her up.

They've dubbed their music "Akiba-Pop", which is really a variant of Gamewave, only covered by numerous Akihabara cultural references, including fantasy anime and video game themes.
