David “AVI” Gindratt was born on January 20, 1987 in West Covina, CA, He began writing when he five. At eleven he wrote his first novel which won first prize at the LA County Fair. Later that year he joined The Edgewood Middle School Band and realized he had an interest in musical instruments too. The combination of these two interests would create the Great Producer he is today.

AVI started producing music after his mother gave him a beat machine and a recorder for his 17th birthday. Everyday he'd rush home to experiment with his gifts in a spare bedroom in his house that now has become a small home studio. It took him about three or four days to figure out how the two machines worked and two weeks later he produced his first beat, recorded his first song and by the end of that week he produced a Cd called "My World" of 11 songs, currently being sold on www.cdbaby.com. He soon realized that he'd like to make career out of it and enrolled in SoundMasters Engineering College to professionally learn how to record every type of music. He graduated and completed an internship at Westlake Studios in Santa Monica, CA.

Currently AVI is involved in several random projects, such as The Electric Jungle with well known producer Raww Dogg who mentioned the project and its connection to AVI on the air during his POWER106 interview on July 18, 2010. Later that week it was announced that AVI was nominated and invited to perform one of his songs called "WorldWide" at "The 2010 Los Angeles UnSigned Artist Music Awards" he won the award in the Hip-Hop category and now has been invited to Headline with Dead Prez and Canibus on Labor Day for a VH-1 Hip-Hop festival at the Crazy Horse in West Covina.

Today AVI remains an unsigned Hip-Hop poetic artist. He continues to produce, rap, sing, compose, engineer and instrumentalize.
