At age 23 Chris Royal is making huge marks in the Cairns and North Queensland club scene, Not only with his abilty to win over crowds but also his funky no hold back style of DJing. As one of the youngest Club DJs in Cairns Royal has proven he that he has got what it takes to mix it with some of the industries best and now has established himself as one of Cairns best Club Dj/Producers.

Royal has had a strong musical up bringing so to find himself in this industry is no suprise at all. Through School Hip Hop & RnB was a big influence for Royal so he started to learn how to mix all kinds of RnB and Hip Hop. A few years went by and Royal Quickly found a love with Dirty Bass so decided mixing all types of Electro/Dance/Breakbeat tracks.

As the years roll on and the EDM scene gets bigger and more common Royal had developed a fine ability to cater his style of funky out there no hold back style of djing and music selection to everyone that Steps foot on the dance floor. Starting from bedrooms and home partys to finaly at the age of 20 landing his first gig in the Cairns Club Scene now 3 years on you can catch Chris playing at the top venues in Cairns on a regular bases.

This year is only getting started for Royal as he has just been signed to Sydney Based label Preston Recordings he has just recently released his brand new EP "Robots" which is out now Exclusive to Beatport. As for the future Royal is aiming to make the move to Melbourne at the end of 2013 and concentrate on his music production in 2014 so stay tuned.
