Dirty guitars, driving bass and drum grooves that make this band rush forward like a freight train at full speed. A catchy sound that is inspired by bands like The Hellacopters, Eagles of Death Metal and BRMC. But above all a band with a sound of its own that doesn’t care to much about current trends.

Black Operator's debut album, released in the summer of 2019, was received with much praise and several singles including the prize number "Desolation Blues" not only reached the top of the Dutch Indie chart, but also received airplay on national radio and also resonated with listeners far beyond their national borders.

In recent years, due to the Corona interruption and a number of line-up changes, the band has mainly worked on a lot of new material and the sound of the band has gradually shifted to the dirty, pumping garage rock that it is today. Black Operator is coming back with a vengeance this year. First of all with the smashing single ‘Rolling’ + spectacular video clip to be released in March and also with a brand new EP to be released later this year.
