Dancing Around It Lyrics

No, we don't have to know better
We know what we want
And if he treated you better
You wouldn't have come
To tell the truth, I saw this coming
Is it the rain or is it the pain-got your mascara running?

You've got the fire in your eyes burning through the night
Oh, I know what you came for
There's a storm rolling in, soaking in the skin
So, baby, let the rain pour

I know you (just keep dancing, just keep dancing around it)
You don't have to say nothing at all
I know you (just keep dancing, just keep dancing around it)
We can just keep dancing around it

I know what you're thinking right now
I'm thinking it too
We ain't gotta say it out loud
Yeah, we'll just play it cool
Whatever you do, just don't say it's nothing
Cause we both know you wouldn't have shown
If you didn't feel something

You've got the fire in your eyes burning through the night
Oh, I know what you came for
The way you move out of time, body next to mine
So, baby, let the wine pour

I know you (just keep dancing, just keep dancing around it)
You don't have to say nothing at all
I know you (just keep dancing, just keep dancing around it)
We can just keep dancing around it, yeah

No, we can't fight it
We ain't never gonna just be friends, oh
I'm tired of trying to hide what we've always been

Oh, I know you (just keep dancing, just keep dancing around it)
You don't have to say nothing at all
I know you (just keep dancing, just keep dancing around it)
We can just keep dancing around it

I know you (just keep dancing, just keep dancing around it)
You don't have to say nothing, have to say nothing
You (just keep dancing, just keep dancing around it)
Oh

We can just keep dancing around it
Just dancing around it
Oh, I know what you came for
So, baby, let the rain pour

Charles Burgess Kelley (born September 11, 1981) is an American country music singer-songwriter and founding member of Lady Antebellum, a country rock trio formed in 2006 and signed to Capitol Nashville.

Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood recorded Lady Antebellum's self-titled debut album and released it in 2008. It included the singles "Love Don't Live Here," "Lookin' for a Good Time" and "I Run to You," which became the trio's first Number One hit on the Billboard country charts. In 2010, Lady Antebellum released its second album, Need You Now, which was led off by the five-week #1 hit "Need You Now." All three members of the band co-wrote these songs, with "Need You Now" also being co-written with their producer, Paul Worley. Read more on Last.fm.
