Released in 2008, Noise Annoys! is The Shattered Hopes' debut album. Originating and recording in Virginia, the band is comprised of 4 members; Johnny Jagged on lead guitar and keyboard, Johnny Trainwreck on rhythm guitar and vocals, Johnny Ka-Boom! on drums, and Johnny Del Rey on bass guitar.

This punk rock foursome gets lots of "smileage" out of out of their tunes “I Lost My Humanity” and “In-Between.” Easily recognizable influences are bands such as The Aquabats, Violent Femmes, Gun Club, Cramps, Chicksaw Mudpuppies, Daniel Johnston/Jad Fair, and the B-52's.
