Danish musician and producer Njordlyd is a creator of thoughtful and mellow musical landscapes, organic compositions and harmonies, combined with experimental beats and micro sounds - All shaped with help of analog synths, processed samples and effects. The best way to describe the very detailed and personal musical universe of Njordlyd is ambient and downtempo electronic music.

Njordlyd recently completed a visual experience and enhancement of the first part of the musical landscapes from Hidden Moments. Together with Towards the Night, Hidden Moments is part of his 2 track EP Silent Echoes.

Njordlyd is currently working on expanding the visual experience into his work and preparation for an audio-visual live experience, based on Silent Echoes. In parallel, Njordlyd is working on a second EP as a follow-up to Silent Echoes, as well as he is constantly working on his concept for collaborations “Njordlyd Presents”. Truth Can Only Become.... was the first release from this concept. A track created a long time ago by Carsten Faarvang (Njordlyd) and Henrik Jensen (Neotek) under the name SOIL, which never got the proper release and exposure it truly deserves. The single "Njordlyd Presents Soil - Truth Can Only Become...." was released in January 2016. As this track was created long before the release of Njordlyds "Silent Echoes" EP, it is also an interesting reference to Njordlyds current inspiration and musical universe.

Njordlyd’s musical inspiration comes from artists such as Future Sound of London, Björk, Burial, Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Massive Attack, Portishead, Biosphere and Trentemøller (amongst others).
