Like a messed up soup of 70's Punk and 80's Glam, Tragic City Thieves aren't your average rock n roll band. Coming from the small forgotten shipbuilding town of Port Glasgow in the west coast of Scotland, they take the tired stories of the town and add their own scandal and glamour. They rant about dominatrix addiction, twisted sex crazed murderers and declaring a fashion war with the emo kids. Tragic City Thieves never rest heavilly on their peers and have little or no sentiment or loyalty to rock tradition. They choose instead to charge on furiously on their own path, never slowing for anyone to play catchup. Their live shows are often a sweaty, sticky mess of running eyeliner and bloodshot eyes. Starting the show pretty and ending ugly. One such show even included a king size bed with red silk sheets and red roses joining them on stage in some debauchery. In their year and a half as a band they've landed top supports with Jim Jones Revue, Steve Conte of The New York Dolls and even Hollywood big boy Har Mar Superstar. They launched their self produced debut LP "It's a Legend Thing" in August and have a UK tour planned for early next year. Tragic City Thieves will romance and pervert you.
