Justin Todd aka SPINLOCK is a studio head that hails from the Vancouver, BC, on the beautiful West Coast of Canada. His musical style ranges from hard hitting Darkside to the more soulful style of liquid funk and a fusion of both styles he's constructed for his first releases on Stride Recordings. A true "studio head" in every sense of the words, Spinlock chooses to spend his time producing well-laid out drum'n'bass compositions behind the boards as opposed to DJing. As Stride's primary West Coast representative, Spinlock's debut release on the label is due out this winter and with so much time spent in the studio as opposed to out in the club, you can bet that his contributions to the label will be plentiful.
