Lichfield is an eclectic electronically-based solo artist residing in a resolutely dystopian North Yorkshire. As one half of the now-defunct laptop-indie duo MF Adaptor, he is no stranger to ridicule, bemusement and indifference, and continues to plug away at his craft despite little or no interest in his output from the general public, the music industry as a whole and people he knows. His debut album 'Time of Waste' went unacknowledged by the outside world, despite being a daring and eclectic mash-up of forward thinking alt.pop compositions, and his MySpace never gets any hits! He is about to begin work on his second long-player, which he intends to characterise a huge leap forward, incorporating well-crafted melodies, resonant lyrics and a generally far-improved aesthetic. Yet, no matter what angle he approaches his obstacles from, he cannot sing.
