digital death is a unique blend of electronic and metal derived from influences spanning metal, dance, industrial, and rock created in 1997 by Damon C Wood in Pascagoula MS.

The project made its first appearances on early music download sites in late 1999. early recordings were rough and radically different than what was currently mainstream or even in a similar genre.

digital death got most of its initial attention on mp3.com during the pay for play era, topping out at number 7 in the industrial charts for its single arise.

Reviewed in a handful of under ground trade rags and even the more well known Music Biz, digital death dropped off the radar abruptly and didn't reemerge until the initial tracks from the album twitch were released in january of 2008.

After another hiatus, the first four tracks of the album broken were released on longhairedboy.com in early 2014 as they were being recorded.
