Justin Howard is fast becoming well known for his pure, genuine, openly emotional lyrics and distinct vocals. He began playing guitar and writing songs at age thirteen. Within six months he had joined his first band and won his first local talent show. By age fifteen, he was struck by the realization that this gift was meant to be much more than a hobby. He began channeling this passion into his desire to fuse thoughts, feelings, and emotions and bring them to life through music. Combining his influence of alternative rock of the nineties with his childhood love of classic rock, southern rock and country, he began molding his distinct sound. By age nineteen his songwriting had began receiving high praises at fine arts competitions on local, regional and national levels. For the next four years, he struggled tremendously to maintain sight of his dream while attempting to juggle school and a full time job. Despite the odds and the late nights he continued to write, record, and play out as much as possible. Then on December 8, 2008, he was offered and accepted a record deal with Head Fuel Records. At age twenty four he began recording his debut album Living Proof, which has proved to capture the very essence of his nature. More than a musical entertainer, Justin Howard is an artist that is sure to be around for years to come.
