There are multiple artists using this name. One is a Finnish black metal band, the other is a metalcore band from Florida.

1. GRIEVE is a black metal entity hailing from Finland, and Grieve is the band's first public recording. Despite its release in 2019, one could easily mistake GRIEVE's swift opening salvo as some lost recording from the mid/late '90s, so authentic and unshakable is its swelling, mystical surge. As such, Grieve is not short on nightsky melodicism - firmly within the Finnish pantheon, then - nor is it unafraid to lace those wandering-soul ruminations with subtle touches of synth. Altogether, it's a simple first statement from GRIEVE, but one nonetheless profound: the past is alive! The band released a second full-length album in 2023 called Wolves Of The Northern Moon.

2. Hailing from Central Florida, Grieve are a 5-piece American Metalcore act combining Modern Hardcore, Deathcore, and Progressive elements into a unique and sonically diverse package. After unveiling their debut single "Sweet Caroline" in 2018, the band went on to release their first EP, in 2020. Later that same year, the band unveiled "White Lies Don't Matter", calling for justice during a time of civil unrest. After a significant reimagining of their sound and lineup, Grieve debuted a new single "Erase Me", signaling a new era of misery. Shortly after, the band unleashed their latest single, "I Love Myself and My Beautiful Life" , a darker and more progressive track that showcases the group’s skill and versatility. With punishing, dissonant riffs from guitarists Evan Draper and Tommy Henthorne, rock-solid grooves from bassist Michele Becker and drummer Ian Currie, and unrelenting vocals from frontman Scott Ellis, Grieve are a destructive force that cannot be tamed.
