Ezera is a post-hardcore (earlier)/metalcore (later) band from Sacramento, California, United States. The band was first active from around 2008 to 2011. Then later on, some of the members made the band The Never & Now, and then later on, they changed their name to Ezera as a salute to their roots.

From their Myspace in 2010:
'What a breath of fresh air, to have such a tight group of band members so down to earth and so full of heart. It is only right to call it a family. It is rare for each individual band member to love each other as a brother the way that we all do. Over a short few months this band has grown closer and has become stronger than ever. From it, has emerged a new sound with a new feeling that has filled us all with a great amount of hope and excitement.

As a band we hope to move you and share with you the feeling we get when we play our music. We hope to fill everyone with that excitement and high. We remember the days of our early teen years, and are sad to see the amazing music scene we use to know and love, start to fade... We want to help bring change to this scene. We want to help build it back to be something as memorable as it once was.

This band's epic began in April 2008 when Ben and Cade's old band had just split and they wanted something new and fresh. They quickly formed a group together and wrote their 2009 EP, "When It Rains, It Pours". A short time after, band members dropped out of the band for school and careers, forcing a search for new members that would be able to fill the shoes. They found Patrick mid 2009, and Adam found them shortly after. For the next few months, things for Ezera were solid and they started to get booked for bigger shows with bands including A Skylit Drive, Four Letter Lie, A Current Affair, The Subtle Way, Eleonora, and In Aviate, but something still felt wrong. When their current vocalist began showing signs of commitment issues, they knew something had to change and they soon parted ways with him. Shortly after beginning the search for a new front man, Johnnie(former guitarist of Tetragrammatron and front man of City Like Forest), and Lloyd, who were at the time living in Antioch, California, contacted Ezera through their Myspace. They both came out to El Dorado Hills to try out, and right away it clicked. They knew their family was complete. So Johnnie and Lloyd moved out to El Dorado Hills to join the band.

Over the past few months we have started over. We have all new music with a new sound and a better message. We have just recorded our 2010, self titled EP. We hope you all enjoy it and hope to see all of you at our shows.

Also, special thanks to all of our fans, friends, and family who support us. Get ready! All of you will be seeing us around for a good, long time... We are just getting started.'
