1. Los Angeles rock and roll sextet Alright Alright gigs throughout LA, the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys, and up and down the southern California coastline. Known for their catchy hooks and quirky lyrics, Alright Alright has been playing and recording together since summer 2008. They self-released their first full length album You Are One Of Us Now in April 2010.

2. “WHATEVER HAPPENED to those classic two-minute-fifty second rock 'n' roll songs we used to know and love?” ALRIGHT ALRIGHT asked one day, tucked safely into their suburban hide away. After a few minutes of collective contemplation, followed by the sudden strength of nearly SEVEN untamed Sasquatch, EIGHT brawny men, and ONE large circus lion, ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, equipped with their favourite Clash, Buddy Holly, and Motown Records, along with enough noise-blaring instruments to safely shield themselves through the worst of all Canadian snow blizzards, made their way down the steps of a DEEP and DARK basement. Bashing out countless HOURS, DAYS, and WEEKS of raw noise, followed by MONTHS of tedious tweaking and sculpting of their newly fangled sound, ALRIGHT ALRIGHT liked what they heard. They had managed to engineer an enigmatic sound of RAW power and DANCEHALL energy, augmented by miscellaneous sounds from flutes to melodicas, while structurally reigning from the early twentieth century days of Tin Pan Alley, and late nineteen-fifties, early nineteen-sixties sounds of The Brill Building. With their self-welded recordings in hand, ALRIGHT ALRIGHT loaded up their parents van with every noise maker they could play, WEDGING themselves between amp heads, BALANCING underneath towering mountains of hazardously stacked guitar cases, DODGING javelin-like airborne microphone stands, and traveled across the city. Narrowly escaping from PERIL submersed, PANIC-ridden predicaments, they conquered some of the brightest stages the city had to offer, while filled with a sense of accomplishment and a yearning for what was to come, ALRIGHT ALRIGHT returned back to their quiet suburban quarters, eager to strategize their next adventures. Upon your screen is the first batch of recorded ALRIGHT ALRIGHT songs, emerging directly from the steps of their DEEP and DARK basement, the hub of their new brand of ROCK and ROLL, the site of where our story began.
