Lyna Mahyem, born June 29, 1995 in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, is a French-Algerian singer-songwriter and RnB singer.

Lyna has been singing since she was little. She began making covers and compositions, accompanying herself on the piano around the age of 15 and followed writing sessions organized in her neighbourhood. It was through Fik2, a local figure and former member of the Val Nord Favelas collective, that Lyna began her first studio sessions. In 2013 and 2014, she won two competitions organized by artists Kayna Samet and Fababy.

Lyna Mahyem gained recognition in January 2016 thanks to her cover of 92i Veyron by Booba, which has more than 57 million views on YouTube (as of 2023). On April 7, 2017, she released her first album named LM, on the Def Jam label. After this first opus, Lyna changed labels and signed with Nouvelle Ecole and BLZ.

On October 23, 2020, she released her second album titled Femme Strong, featuring collaborations with Imen Es, Still Fresh, Franglish, Barack Adama and S.Pri Noir. On November 5, 2021, she took part in the album Le classico organise, on the titles L'légage and Je se se sens Seul in collaboration with Jul, L'algérino, Imen Es, Soprano, Lynda, Dina, Benab, Uzi, Moubarak, SAF and Dabs.

Lyna released her third album Authentic on March 4, 2022, collaborating with Zaho, Bramsito, Thabiti and Jok'air. In 2023, she created her own label called Ma Belle Music. On November 7, 2023, Lyna Mahyem won the TikTok Award in the music category. She is also the godmother of the APIPD association (association for information and prevention of sickle cell disease ).
