Biography
Reason To Rebel's history began in the musical recesses of the North County San Diego music scene. Vocalist Luke Chandler was instrumental in joining the forces that currently make up the band. Guitarist Evan Jones ability to write arena-worthy riffs & otherworldly leads, lays the groundwork for one of the best rhythm sections in rock music today. Sam Hartjen (bass) and Daniel Zivkovich (drums) have the kind of chops that make people move. Offtime signatures and provacative lyrics have been impressing audiences for the past five years throughout the country. Multiple tours and strict studio schedules keeps the band on a busy schedule. Their latest release "Imaginary Foe" is available in stores nationwide, & feat. a guest appearance from Ikey Owens of The Mars Volta. R2R is already in the studio working on a 4th record to be released in 2011. Look for them shredding in a city near you when not in the recording studio.

For the band Reason to Rebel, a third album meant facing their demons, relying on each other, and focusing on the talent that had held so much promise for the past five years. The resulting piece of work exceeds all expectations, and in turn, cements their place among the great rock and roll bands of this generation. The ability to touch on subjects that have world-wide ramifications, while still delivering a personal message of irony, despair, and hope has kept them grounded in the reality of our times. The music of this band has progressed at a pace that leaves it incomparable to what most musicians are releasing in this time period. Already light years of the competition, it stands on its own with the classic sense of having identifiable hooks, textured over aggressive sounds, that leave the listener no choice but to let go and enjoy the ride.
