Solardrive is a indie-rock band from Ammersee, Germany. They formed in November of 2007 and the current members are:
Andi Bauer vocals/guitar/drums
Simon Holzmann drums/guitar
Timo Kropp bass
Schrubbi guitar
Before founding Solardrive, Andi and Timo have been playing in a band called "Janis Mutter" for a long time with guitar virtuoso Uli Hegewisch, who unfortunately had to leave to Vienna for studying psychology. At that time Andi was the band's drummer, but he wanted a change. So he learned to play the guitar and started taking vocal lessons. They invited Timo's friends Simon and Schrubbi to join the band, quickly found their style of music and started to record songs.
Solardrive are about to release their first album "Ever Tried Out" which contains 8 Songs+ Intro.
