Devotion Lyrics

It's taboo, but you know you really drive me crazy
16, speaking to me like an angel

Should I tell him something to make my motives clear because I want you
Release me freely
If you can't feel the heat of my devotion

Do you remember the way you looked at me last night
If I ever could hold you in my arms
I would never tell you how this love still breaks my heart

Should I leave my number
Something to remember me
And if I'm not your lover
Then tell me what this really means
Should I leave my number
Am I the one that suffers
Is this love or just an opportunity?

Black tie
But now you know the party's over
And so it's goodnight
And everybody goes their separate ways

But can I tell you something
I'll whisper in your ear
Because I want you
Release me, freely and you can feel the heat of my devotion

So say it with feeling if not with love
I'll suffer the night until morning comes
Is this love or just an opportunity?

Should I leave my number
Something to remember me
And if I'm not your lover
Then tell me what this really means
Should I leave my number
Am I the one that suffers
Is this love or just an opportunity?

Should I leave my number
Am I the one that suffers
Is this what we do to each other?
Am I different from the others?
Is this love or just an opportunity?
