Lisa Macfarlane knew she was different from the age of four when she found her mom sitting outside her room, with her ear to the door, listening to Lisa sing. Her musical influences range from Erykah Badu to Sublime to Otis Redding to Christina Aguilera. Her music is smooth and flowing, but reaches into funk and jazz, matching the versatile and bold quality of her voice.

Lisa's father died when she was 9 years old, and she funneled her emotions into her music, performing her original songs at local coffee shops and then even five star restaurants.

She has released music under the name Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man, collaborating with her husband TJ Smith to create a new unique danceable sound. She is currently in the studio developing a new unique sound for her second album, and recording her new original songs. The new album is as yet untitled, and will be released through her online marketing and publishing company, Diosa Publishing LLC.
