Divi (a.k.a. Peter Jadinge): Main musical work consists of interpretations of the Bengali song collection "Prabhat Samgiit" by P R Sarkar, one of India's great poets of enlightenment and self realization.
Recurring theme of his songs is a sometimes joyful, sometimes yearning love for the trans-personal supreme entity hidden within us all, the only entity able to quench the boundless thirst of the human heart.

Peter first came to my attention as a talented and unusual performer. He had made English translations of a seminal Bengali poet , set his love poems for guitar and voice and performed them. This may sound esoteric in the extreme, but in fact the results were accessible, hauntingly beautiful pieces.
