Heavily inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, and Neil Young, Charlotte Clark aka ARK started her career in the music industry at a very young age.

Originally from Hampshire in England, where she grew up surrounded by a diverse range of music, it was at the age of 15 when she discovered Joni Mitchell’s ‘Blue’ that she began writing songs, and hasn’t stopped since. Charlotte's childhood was spent singing and harmonising Motown covers at home with her sisters, attending world music festivals and learning piano.

Her debut single 'Made for Us' released in November 2017, garnered a lot of attention and quickly went on to achieve over three million plays on Spotify.
After signing a three-year contract with Kobalt, she released an EP called 'The Shadow in My Company'.

In late 2019 and 2020 she performed with Harry Styles at various shows, including The Late Late Show, the BRIT Awards, and NPR Music Tiny Desk.
