Somewhere Special is an electropop duo from New York City formed in 2023, comprised of Bruno Zero and Simone Alysia. Their first single, Blizzard Warning was released in February 2023, followed by their second single Cabin. Following the buzz generated by these two tracks, Somewhere Special dropped an EP titled Playground in August of 2023, featuring four tracks: Water Gun, Undercover Lover, Swimming in Your Pool f/ Zeke the Zombie Slayur, and Playground. Since dropping the EP, Somewhere Special released the single Disguise. Somewhere Special has released two music videos so far for Cabin and Undercover Lover. Over the course of 2023, Somewhere Special has performed several shows in New York City at venues such as Bowery Electric with Harto Falion and Jack Powers, Knitting Factory, Elsewhere, Mehanata and the Perfectly Imperfect New York Fashion Week Party with 2Hollis, The Hellp, Marjorie -W.C. Sinclair, MGNA Crrrta, and The End with Xaviersobased, Bloody Clip, phreshboyswag, Mother Cell, Zayguapkid and DJ Rennessy.
