Jairo Esteban Morales Salgado, known as Rd Jems was born on August 14, 1999 in the city of Barranquilla, department of Atlántico, Colombia. At the age of 9 he began to take an interest in music, participating in civic events at school, dancing to Michael Jackson songs. At the age of 12, he decided to dabble in rap music, debuting as Rd Jems in youth groups at La Milagrosa, Faith and Joy, where he became known as Rd Jems. Later on, several groups were born, made up of him and his friends. His history in the music industry begins with the company H Estudio, where he records his first songs as this stage name. His first production was with the producer of H Estudio, Tom Herrera, with him he made several recordings, among them, ‘Straight Outta Theme’, ‘Eres Tú’ and ‘Perdóname’. Later in 2020 he joins Faith Music, which is directed by artist and producer Zombie B.Q, with whom he is currently working. He gained recognition after passing several groups and becoming a soloist before finishing school, the same recognition he receives in other schools in the city after performing in these. He has collaborated with various artists such as Zombie B.Q, his producer, Keilobb and Mandy Z. In collaboration with the latter he releases the single ‘Te Invito’ which is part of the artist’s first compositions after becoming part of the Faith Music label.
