Mutrix, real name James Ruehlmann, is a dubstep and trap and former electro house DJ from Los Angeles, United States, now based in Crestline, CA.
He originally got his start in the music as a touring guitarist for the band At The Throne of Judgement, but Mutrix broke into the scene when his trap anthem "Gunz" topped the Beatport charts on Excision's Rottun Records. After several years of touring the club and festival circuit his journey led him to the mountains of the west coast. Once known for his remixes and synthetic sound design Mutrix steps back into the game in 2025 with his own original vocals and lyrics. Read more on Last.fm.
