DJ / Producer Nathan Mayor is fast on his way to dominating the South African dance scene.

Born and raised in Johannesburg (Originally of German decent) Nathan's chart topping singles 'Do You Know' and 'Do It All' have seemed to cement Nathan's precense as a South African DJ and Producer. A closer look shows Nathan's passion for all types of dance music. This authentic, innovative and original urban style of musical composition and mixing give Nathan his unique identity, setting him apart from other producers and DJ's.
Shy and reserved by character Nathan has still worked with some of South Africa's greatest performance artists and DJ's. He is a world class performer, fully embodying the essence of a music pioneer. Nathan is never satisfied with current trends and fads flying around and is constantly seeking formulas to cross existing boundaries and take on new challenges, all while keeping an eye on the ever changing dance scene. Creatively, Nathan believes we will never progress until we climb outside the confining box of simplemindedness, a mindset he tries to portray through all he's performances and music.

The 24 year old DJ and Producer has a weekly mix residency on national radio platform 5FM called The Mayors House where he showcases not only his own sounds and tastes in music but helps elevate and give exposure to fellow producers and musicians across the country. The Mayor's love for dance music and it's growth is indescribable, his passion shines through all his work. Nathan alongside 5FM associates Euphonik and DJ Warras have established an events company B.O.B Fest which in conjunction with it's sponsors and media partner Channel O have enabled other artists to showcase their talents and qualities to numerous audiences throughout South Africa, giving them the opportunity to perform, helping establish individual careers in the music and DJ industry.
Nathan constantly performs country wide at most major clubs and multiple social events. Playing for vast crowds, ranging anything between one hundred to ten thousand attendees per event. These events have an LSM of 1-10 from upmarket night-clubs, to local township venues throughout the country. Nathan thrives on experiencing South Africa's rich and diverse culture, being able to portray it through entertainment and high quality dance music.
