There are several bands that use the name Pigs.

1) A Brooklyn, NY trio made up of: Dave Curran (Unsane, Players Club, Cutthroats 9), Jim Paradise (Freshkills, Players Club, Hell No, Go!) and Andrew Schneider (Slughog, Barbaro) (the same bunch bringing you Coextinction Recordings).

In 2012, they released their debut album, You Ruin Everything through Solar Flare Records.

2) PIGS are a doom/thrash metal trio from Oakland, CA. Traces of stoner rock, NWOBHM, thrash, black metal, punk, death metal and doom contribute to the hyperactive hodge-podge blasting through Jack Doff's fuzzy British tube amps.

In 2007, the fledgling stages of the band were fostered by core members Jack Doff (previously of Civil Dysentery) and Brian Hamilton (of Fleshies) jamming under the moniker Skeleton Dudes. At this stage they cycled through several bassists before changing their name and settling in with current bassist Rachel Reichert in May 2008.

Their debut album, Illuminati House Party, was recorded in Hamilton's warehouse studio and released by his independent label Sugar Mountain Records in June 2009. To date they've embarked on two United States tours and are preparing to record a second release this October. Read more on Last.fm.
